Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 - A copy of the consultation paper "Proposals for Regulations under section 15 on Charity Reference in documents is available at the VONEF office, Crossgate Cupar or on line at http://www.scotland.gov.uk/consultations This consultation is your opportunity to have your say about these plans before the regulations are drafted. VONEF have a responses sheet. If you would like to make your feelings known on this we will send a group response. Responses are to be with the Scottish Executive by 13th December 2005

Education Grants - DFID Development Awareness Fund Mini-Grants 2006. The mini-grants give amounts of up to £10,000 for projects which promote global, development themes in different sectors of education including the formal sector, lifelong learning and youth work. UK Villages Community Kitty - provide grants of between £50 and £500 to a range of community based projects. In the past the fund has awarded grants for projects ranging from a knitting circle, to a playgroup needing toys. The next closing date for applications is the 10 October 2005.
