A two day programme, the theme a climate for change. The confrence programme, is a mix of the here and now issues as well as some crystal gazing sessions. OSCR CONSULTS ON CHARITY TEST
Scotland's charity regulator has invited comment on its guidance for meeting the charity test. The consultation will last until 7 April and will see the Regulator's current guidance updated in light of its experience over the past two years since taking up its powers under the Charities and Trustee Investment Scotland Act 2005. A summary and analysis of responses will be published on OSCR's website by 30 April with final guidance being produced in the summer.

Baring Foundation - The Baring Foundation, which is an independent charitable foundation and distributes just over £3m in grants each year, has announced that it's Strengthening the Voluntary Sector grants programme and is like to re-open application in March 2008. B&Q You Can Do It Awards - will be reopening for applications from 28th January 2008. Under the scheme, community groups and charitable organisations can apply for awards ranging from £1000 to £10,000 worth of B&Q products. The closing date of applications will be 28 March 2008. In addition, each local B&Q store also has a "limited" budget to provide grants of between £50 and £500 to community groups under its Better Neighbour Grant Scheme. www.diy.com
