CTX - Charity Technology Exchange - The programme enables eligible charities to gain access to donated technology products. Choose from over 140 products from companies such as Microsoft, Symantec and Cisco. To find out if you are eligible and to register visit : CTX SCVO MEMBERSHIP FEES AND NEW "GRASS ROOTS" CATEGORY - If you have an annual income of less than £25,000 you can now become a member of the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) for FREE. There are various services offered along with discounts for member organisations. For full details on membership visit www.scvo.org.uk. The Poverty Alliance are working on a discussion document with the Scottish Government on poverty and disadvantage. Fife Rights Forum is holding a joint meeting with the Poverty Alliance around the issues of work as a route out of povery on March the 14th at the Dean Park Hotel in Kirkcaldy (10.00 am to 3pm). The agenda will consist of Poverty Alliance issues; a report from Part V in regards to Mental Health Law issues; and the launch of Fife Advice and Rights strategy development process. The new community safety videos, offering advice on home and personal safety are available to view from the FRF site at http://www.fiferights.org/community_safety.html St Andrews University SVS - GlamourGals - A voluntary organisation based in North America, has crossed the pond with the formation of the first international chapter in St Andrews, thanks to first year student Regan Leahy. James Tutor Foundation - makes grants, gifts or loans. They prefer to consider applications from organisations that have been established for at least two years and that are registered as charities. They make grants for charitable purposes, but their principal objectives if the relief of sickness.
